Pipeline Sampling Valve

Pipeline Sampling Valve (also named Sample Valve) is a special valve installed on process pipelines and equipment. It can collect small representative medium samples safely without dead corners, under non-stop operation and without disturbing the main process flow. It is widely applied to on-line quality inspection and process monitoring in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, energy and other industries.

Structural Composition

Valve Body: Integrated main flow channel and sampling side port, integrally cast or forged, free of dead retention pockets.

Stem / Plunger: Controls flow on-off via lifting or rotation, equipped with double sealing structure to prevent leakage.

Sampling Port: Available with clamp, thread or hose connector, compatible with sampling bottles.



Working Principle

Closed State: Tighten the handwheel counterclockwise, the stem presses down the sealing ring to fully isolate the main channel from the sampling port, leaving no residual medium.

Open State: Loosen the handwheel clockwise, lift the stem to let medium flow from main pipeline into the sampling port; flow rate is adjustable to avoid medium splashing.

Purging Function: Partial models are fitted with purge ports for valve cavity flushing before and after sampling.
