Emergency Relief Valve
Emergency Pressure Relief Valve is a safety pressure relief device mounted on the top of atmospheric and low-pressure storage tanks (for petroleum, chemical, LNG and other media). Under emergency conditions such as fire, nitrogen blanketing system failure and misoperation, it rapidly releases overpressure inside the tank at high flow rate to prevent tank bulging and deformation.

Working Principle
Overpressure Relief: The valve fully opens automatically when the tank internal pressure reaches or exceeds the set relief pressure, discharging pressure at high flow capacity. It reseals tightly when the pressure drops to approximately 90% of the set value.
Sealed Standby: Under normal operating pressure, the disc forms a tight seal relying on its own weight or spring force to isolate ambient air and reduce medium volatilization.
Applicable Standards
HG/T 21515-2014, Atmospheric Manholes
API Standard 2000, Venting of Atmospheric and Low-Pressure Storage Tanks (Standard for High-Flow Venting Equipment)
Product Features
Low opening-closing differential pressure; the lift height reaches at least 1/3 of the nominal diameter of the relief valve.
Adopts high-quality springs with excellent anti-fatigue performance.
A variety of optional materials are available for valve seat and valve plug manufacturing, suitable for diverse working conditions.
Both valve plug and valve seat assemblies are field-replaceable.
Certified discharge curves applicable to all product sizes.
Flange standards can be selected as per customer requirements (GB, HG, ANSI, DIN, GOST).
