Conical Temporary Strainer
Conical temporary strainer is a type of pipeline coarse filter, installed between two flanges. It is only temporarily used before unit startup, pressure testing and pipeline cleaning to trap solid contaminants such as welding slag, rust and sediment, protecting pumps, compressors, valves and instruments from abrasion and clogging.

Structure Types
Pointed bottom type: Cone faces downward for easy sedimentation of impurities, suitable for horizontal pipelines.
Flat bottom type: Equipped with perforated plate at bottom for higher mechanical strength, applicable to vertical pipelines or elbows.
Main components consist of flange ring, conical filter cartridge, metal filter mesh and reinforcing ribs. The filter cartridge is made of perforated plate lined with stainless steel woven mesh on inner wall, with flange/lug plate on the top for wafer installation.
